Hush,Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick is a really enjoyable book! I love the story line!

    Hush,Hush

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.
But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

Even though Nora knows not to trust Patch, there's just something about him that makes her fall for him. The way he's always there, it's creepy but almost reassuring, like her own guardian angel.

It appears that unfortunately, there isnt going to be a sequel.:(
But lets keep our fingers crossed and i'll keep you all updated!!

I LOVE how this book was written, it keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen. I rate this book 5/5!
I like how Aden does everything, starting school and all that just to be near Mary Ann, who quiets the souls living in his head.
The story is quite complicated, you have to kind of know the souls, know who's speaking, but Gena pulls it off effortlessly. This is one book that i HIGHLY recommend!!

Like most teens, Aden Stone has friends. They just happen to be the four human souls living inside him.

One can time travel. One can raise the dead. One can tell the future. One can possess another human. And they’re causing him all kinds of trouble. All he wants is peace.

Then he meets a girl who quiets the voices, whenever he's near her. Why? Mary Ann is his total opposite. While he attracts the paranormal, she repels it.

Somehow, they share an inexplicable bond of friendship that will soon be tested by a werewolf shape-shifter who wants Mary Ann for his own, and a vampire princess Aden can't resist.

Two romances, both forbidden. Now the four will enter a dark underworld of intrigue and danger—but not everyone will come out alive...

Unraveled - The sequel to Intertwined is out September 2010! (Can hardly wait!)

For once, sixteen-year-old Aden Stone has everything he’s ever wanted:

    A home.
    Friends.
    The girl of his dreams.
Too bad he’s going to die…Since coming to Crossroads, Oklahoma, former outcast Aden Stone has been living the good life.  Never mind that one of his best friends is a werewolf, his girlfriend is a vampire princess who hungers for his blood, and he’s supposed to be crowned Vampire King – while still a human!  Well, kind of.

With four – oops, three now — human souls living inside his head, Aden has always been “different” himself.  These souls can time travel, raise the dead, possess another’s mind, and, his least favorite these days, tell the future.

The forecast for Aden?  A knife through the heart.
Because a war is brewing between the creatures of the dark, and Aden is somehow at the center of it all.  But he isn’t about to lie down and accept his destiny without a fight.  Not when his new friends have his back, not when Victoria has risked her own future to be with him, and not when he has a reason to live for the first time in his life…

I enjoyed this series every much. It's different, but isn't that what i say about all the books?:)
There is just something about it, how they're all just abandoned in this house for "freaks" and they have to talk about problems which they don't even think they have. It's written very well, and it keeps you reading, wanting to know more!!
It's very cleverly put together! :):)

     Enjoy!

    Summoning-
After years of frequent moves following her mother’s death, Chloe Saunders’s life is finally settling down. She is attending art school, pursuing her dreams of becoming a director, making friends, meeting boys. Her biggest concern is that she’s not developing as fast as her friends are. But when puberty does hit, it brings more than hormone surges. Chloe starts seeing ghosts–everywhere, demanding her attention. After she suffers a breakdown, her devoted aunt Lauren gets her into a highly recommended group home.

At first, Lyle House seems a pretty okay place, except for Chloe’s small problem of fearing she might be facing a lifetime of mental illness. But as she gradually gets to know the other kids at the home–charming Simon and his ominous, unsmiling brother Derek, obnoxious Tori, and Rae, who has a “thing” for fire–Chloe begins to realize that there is something that binds them all together, and it isn’t your usual “problem kid” behaviour. And together they discover that Lyle House is not your usual group home either…

This is a very good "first" book in the series, it introduces everybody adn you get a good idea about everybody, who's good and who's bad.
Or well, you think you do!

    Highly recommend this book! :)

    Awakening -

If you had met me a few weeks ago, you probably would have described me as an average teenage girl—someone normal. Now my life has changed forever and I'm as far away from normal as it gets. A living science experiment—not only can I see ghosts, but I was genetically altered by a sinister organization called the Edison Group. What does that mean? For starters, I'm a teenage necromancer whose powers are out of control; I raise the dead without even trying. Trust me, that is not a power you want to have. Ever.
Now I'm running for my life with three of my supernatural friends—a charming sorcerer, a cynical werewolf, and a disgruntled witch—and we have to find someone who can help us before the Edison Group finds us first. Or die trying.

It carries on the greatness of the first book, adding a completely new twist, with them running away and the Edison Group hot on their trails.
Will they survive the running away, or will they be caught and brought back to Lyle House, where they will act as experiment rats, once again?
       TIME TO FIND OUT!:)

Reckoning - The third in the trilogy is out April 6th 2010!! (I'm VERY excited!)

The Wicked Lovely Series by Melissa Marr is one of my favorite series. It's the way its put together. I just think its a nice read.

    Wicked lovely;
All her life, Aislinn has been able to see faeries, and they are everywhere, invisible to mortals except for her. And these are not your average cute Disney pixies -- they are the same size as humans, and can be very nasty, especially to those mortals who can see them. To survive, Aislinn has had to learn to pretend not to see them, and to live behind steel walls, which keep them out.
All Aislinn wants is to explore her growing relationship with Seth, finish high school, go to college, and lead a relatively normal life. But now she''s being stalked by the faeries, especially one, Keenan, who is the Summer King and wants her for his Queen. Keenan is able to endure steel, and will have Aislinn whether she agrees or not -- if she doesn''t, the power of his mother, the Winter Queen, will be unchecked, and winter will descend on the earth forever.

I really enjoyed this book. It keeps you up reading, wondering what will happen next.(:
    Ink Exchange;
Seventeen-year-old Leslie knows nothing of faeries or their intrigues. When she is attracted to an eerily beautiful tattoo of eyes and wings, all she knows is that she has to have it, convinced it is a tangible symbol of changes she desperately craves for her own life.

The tattoo does bring changes - not the kind Leslie has dreamed of, but sinister, compelling changes that are more than symbolic. Those changes will bind Leslie and Irial together, drawing Leslie deeper and deeper into the faery world, unable to resist its allures, and helpless to withstand its perils. . . .

This book definitely wasn't as good as the first book, it's quite disappointing when the second book is a let down, because then you expect the next books to be let downs as well. But i would still read it, the third book could be better?

    Fragile Eternity;
Seth never expected he would want to settle down with anyone—but that was before Aislinn. She is everything he'd ever dreamed of, and he wants to be with her forever. Forever takes on new meaning, though, when your girlfriend is an immortal faery queen.
Aislinn never expected to rule the very creatures who'd always terrified her—but that was before Keenan. He stole her mortality to make her a monarch, and now she faces challenges and enticements beyond any she'd ever imagined.
In Melissa Marr's third mesmerizing tale of Faerie, Seth and Aislinn struggle to stay true to themselves and each other in a milieu of shadowy rules and shifting allegiances, where old friends become new enemies and one wrong move could plunge the Earth into chaos.

This one is better again. Maybe not as good as the first one, but it's better than the second book!

Radiant Shadows the 4th book in the series is to be released 20th April 2010. (Y'all excited?)

Those same appetites also attract powerful enemies and uncertain allies, including Devlin. He was created as an assassin and is brother to the faeries’ coolly logical High Queen and to her chaotic twin, the embodiment of War. Devlin wants to keep Ani safe from his sisters, knowing that if he fails, he will be the instrument of Ani’s death.
Ani isn’t one to be guarded while others fight battles for her, though. She has the courage to protect herself and the ability to alter Devlin’s plans—and his life. The two are drawn together, each with reason to fear the other and to fear for one another. But as they grow closer, a larger threat imperils the whole of Faerie. Will saving the faery realm mean losing each other?

Darkest Mercy The 5th book in the series, is still a work in progress!!!

     <----cassandra Clare
I actually have to say that this series may be one of my favorites. It's something about it, that just stands out. It might just be the way Jace is described. I'm a sucker for a Hot, bad boy! :)

    City of Bones:
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing - not even a smear of blood - to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know....

Exotic and gritty, exhilarating and utterly gripping, Cassandra Clare's ferociously entertaining fantasy takes readers on a wild ride that they will never want to end.

    City of Ashes:
Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma, and you can suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires, and faeries? If Clary left the world of the Shadowhunters behind, it would mean more time with her best friend, Simon, who's becoming more than a friend. But the Shadowhunting world isn't ready to let her go -- especially her handsome, infuriating, newfound brother, Jace. And Clary's only chance to help her mother is to track down rogue Shadowhunter Valentine, who is probably insane, certainly evil -- and also her father.
To complicate matters, someone in New York City is murdering Downworlder children. Is Valentine behind the killings -- and if he is, what is he trying to do? When the second of the Mortal Instruments, the Soul-Sword, is stolen, the terrifying Inquisitor arrives to investigate and zooms right in on Jace. How can Clary stop Valentine if Jace is willing to betray everything he believes in to help their father?

    City of Glass:
To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters -- never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.
As Clary uncovers more about her family's past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadow-hunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadow-hunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he's willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her new found powers to help save the Glass City -- whatever the cost?
Love is a mortal sin and the secrets of the past prove deadly as Clary and Jace face down Valentine in the final installment of the New York Times bestselling trilogy The Mortal Instruments.

The fourth book in the series, "City of Fallen Angels" is out March 2011! (I know, it's too long to have to wait!:/)

This book contains four novellas based on the idea that everyone who has ever dated has been on a date from hell at sometime or other - but what if your date literally wasn’t human?
Undead in The Garden of Good and Evil by Kim Harrison is a prequel to The Hollows series of books.  It tells the tale of how Ivy, a living vampire, manages to investigate a murder, get rid of her nasty undead vampire boss at work and start to come to terms with her bloodlust.
The Claire Switch Project by Lynsay Sands is a story about a woman who is exposed to a shape shifting ray (it’s the best way I can describe it!) whilst working in a laboratory.  Claire then gets asked to the school reunion with the man she’s wanted to go out with since high school but she also promised her dateless best friend that she would go to the reunion with her.  With the ability to change her appearance by thought alone, she may be about to go on the double date from hell.
Chaotic by Kelley Armstrong is about Hope, a half demon reporter, who tracks down rogue supernatural Others.  Capturing Karl Marsten, jewel thief and werewolf, leads to an interesting first date at a museum gala function – most of it spent running for their lives.
Dead Man Dating by Lori Handeland is the story of Kit, a literary agent in Manhattan, who has a blind date with a dead guy who had unfortunately been possessed by an incubus demon.  When her date is “killed” by a mysterious Mexican demon hunter named Chavez that should have been an end to it but this is one persistent demon that is very hard to kill.  Chavez needs to find out how to destroy the demon before it returns for another date with Kit.

I really enjoyed each of the four stories, they were all individual, different. I enjoyed reading them, but one or two of them took a bit to get into, like i was planning to put it down and skip to the next story, but they all turned
I would recommend this book. It's different, you can also try

When i bought this book, let me tell you, i had no idea what to expect!
I had just read that it had a good review, so i figured, "what the hell!" and gave it a go!

I was surprised, i actually liked it, for it being a short story, it was really good. It was different, not like i expected, but different in a good way!

For seventeen-year-old Janie, getting sucked into other people's dreams is getting old. Especially the falling dreams, the naked-but-nobody-notices dreams, and the sex-crazed dreams. Janie's seen enough fantasy booty to last her a lifetime.

She can't tell anybody about what she does -- they'd never believe her, or worse, they'd think she's a freak. So Janie lives on the fringe, cursed with an ability she doesn't want and can't control.

Then she falls into a gruesome nightmare, one that chills her to the bone. For the first time, Janie is more than a witness to someone else's twisted psyche. She is a participant....

Janie has been cursed with the ability to go into other peoples dream. Or its not exactly a gift, and shes not exactly entering, she's pulled into the dreams, leaving her blind and soon senseless and theres nothing else she can do apart from go with the dream, ride with it until the dreams over.
Cabel was the boy who got held back and is now in Janie's class. He was always the town loadie, until one year, he returns and has shaped up, no longer has the greasy hair and the stench of sweat lingering to him.
When Janie goes on a class trip with her English group, and everyone around her is falling asleep, she can't keep it a secret anymore, and not from the person she sits beside. Cabel. She cant hide it from him, the writhering, the spasming.
When one of the residents in the old folks home that Janie works at, dies, the lady leaves her a letter. A letter that leaves Janie confused and shaken. What did it mean?
But when the lady starts appearing in the dreams, the dreams that Janie is sucked into, Janie starts to realize why she is sucked into the reams, and starts to come to her full potential.
As Janie starts to rely on Cabel, the only one who knows about the dreaming, she starts to realize that he might not just be as trustworthy as he seemed. What was he hiding? and Why?

    Does that captivate your attention?
If it did, its worth a shot to give this book a try! Its a nice read, a short nice read. Thats how i would describe it! :)

I just finished the book Evermore by Alyson Noel.
And i actually thought it was really good, i know before i bought the book tat it had had on and of reviews, some good and some bad.
But i thought it was really good, maybe not the best book ever, but still a really good read!

I like the plot of the story, how it's slightly different, of course not totally!!!

Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people’s thoughts, and know a person’s life story by touch.   Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste…
Ever sees Damen and feels an instant recognition.  He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets.  Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she’s thinking—and he’s the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head.  She doesn’t know who he really is—or what he is.  Damen equal parts light and darkness, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies.

Of course, through out the whole story the first thing that came to mind, and i kept thinking i was so clever knowing what he was, a vampire. But just so you know, you're wrong!
It's really quite obvious what he is, but i was so used to the whole vampire theme going on, that i just jumped to that conclusion!

One thing about this book is how it made me smile. Like actually, how Damen was so sweet to Ever, it just made me smile, but then when they started to argue or something, i was just like Nooooo!
Cus really they are like the cutest couple!!! :)

One thing though, is how the car accident is a bit of a copy cat thing. Like i had just finished reading, Kissed by an Angel - Elizabeth Chandler and It was the same thing with the car crash, how the deer jumps in the way, its a bit like get a new story line!
But it's still a cute story, a good read!

You can now get Blue Moon the sequel to Evermore.

You can now get Shadowland by Alyson Noel, the third in the series! (Or i think you can get it!)

<---- I found this pic on Google and i think thats how Ever is supposed to look! Thats how i imagined her, so i thought i'd share it with you! :)

The morganville vampires series by Rachel Caine has to be one of my favorite series.

I love how it's a story about vampires, but it actually portrays them as evil. Because in most of the books the vampires turn out to be great, like "oh yeah! let's just forget that you're a vampire, and that you wont suck my blood!" OK maybe a  bit far fetched, but i like in the series how you have to be cautious in case there are vampires lurking the streets and so forth.

-BE WARNED IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE SERIES, THE REVIEWS INCLUDE SPOILERS!-

The first book, Glass House, is the first in the series. It introduces everyone, Claire,Shane,Eve,Michel.

Claire Danvers is a 16-year-old college freshman in the small town of Morganville, Texas. She hates being stuck at a tiny party college when she could have gone to MIT, Yale, or Caltech. Claire is only in Morganville because it’s close to home; having led a very sheltered life her parents didn’t want her going to college far from home. Too bad they didn’t take a closer look at Morganville before Claire arrived.
Claire is having a hard time at school, not with her classes but with some of the other girls. The leading beauty Monica has made it her personal mission to ruin Claire’s existence. When Monica pushes Claire down a flight of stairs with a promise that Claire will get what’s coming to her, she realizes that the dorms on campus are not a safe place for her to stay.
Claire immediately begins looking for a new place, and in the want ads she finds an advert for a place called The Glass House.
Only two of the three roommates are around when Claire arrives: Eve, a very stylish Goth who works in the local coffee shop, and Shane who’s just plain good-looking. Later Claire meets Michael, the mysterious owner of the house who is only around during the night.
The second in the series is the Dead Girl's Dance.
The book starts with the arrival of Shane's anti-vampire father (who tries to murder Michael) and causes havoc in Morganville. Shane gets blamed for the murders his dad has committed and gets put in a cage, to be killed. Claire tries to free him but gets kidnapped by Monica, the Mayor's daughter but also the town's bully. Claire gets free only because Shane's dad kidnaps Monica and tells Claire to go to the Mayor and explain to him that if he ever wants to see his daughter again he would have to set Shane free.

The third book is Midnight Alley.
In the third book in the series, Claire makes an important decision that determines the rest of her life. This leads her to find out the deepest, darkest secret of Morganville: enough to destroy the city, if it falls into the wrong hands. She must learn all she can in order to save her best friend, patron, and those she tolerates enough. With Monica kissing up and Shane in more trouble than ever, Claire must work to protect her friends and herself.

    Fourth Book, Feast of Fools
In the town of Morganville, vampires and humans live in relative peace. Student Claire Danvers has never been convinced, though—especially with the arrival of Mr. Bishop, an ancient, old-school vampire who cares nothing about harmony. What he wants from the town’s living and its dead is unthinkably sinister. It’s only at a formal ball, attended by vampires and their human dates, that Claire realizes the elaborately evil trap he’s set for Morganville.

    Fifth book, Lord of Misrule.
In the college town of Morganville, vampires and humans coexist in (relatively) bloodless harmony. Then comes Bishop, the master vampire who threatens to abolish all order, revive the forces of the evil dead, and let chaos rule. But Bishop isn’t the only threat. Violent black cyclone clouds hover, promising a storm of devastating proportions as student Claire Danvers and her friends prepare to defend Morganville against elements both natural and unnatural.

    Sixth book, Carpe Corpus
In order to protect her friends(as much as possible) Claire has been forced to side with Bishop as the battle for Morganville rages on. After doing what she had to, Claire manages to save Shane, reconcile with Michael, and make up with Eve. Claire and Myrnin also may have discovered a cure to the vampire disease. Now they still have the problem of Bishop controlling the city. In order to save Morganville someone unexpected has to pay the ultimate price that leaves the entire town in mourning.

    Fade out.
Morganville has stabilized into a kind of peace (although it may only be skin deep), but new players are entering the scene, and the course of true love never does run smooth — especially when an old girlfriend drops in for a visit. And the phrase “hidden camera” takes on entirely new and significant meaning for our heroes in the Glass House.

The last book in the series, Kiss of death is to be released APRIL 2010!
    Excited?

Love this series, its definitely one i recommend!!
